Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. V.G. Kumar Das BSc (Hons), DipEd, PhD

Professor Emeritus Dr. Kumar Das is a Foundation Fellow of The Academy of Sciences Malaysia, a Fellow of the Third World Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry.

With 28 patents under his belt in the field of organotin research, he is currently the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Quest International University, Perak, Malaysia.

Professor Kumar Das was previously a Senior Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Science, University Malaya, after which he was appointed Executive Director of Research at Petra Technologies (USA), following which, he accepted posting as Foundation Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST), Kedah.

In recognition of his efforts to higher education in the state of Kedah, he was bestowed the D.S.D.K. award from the Sultan of Kedah, which carries the title Dato’.

Prof. Das’ expertise is currently in consultancy in the field of agriculture, mining, research assistance, establishment of dedicated commercially operational chemical plants and in higher educational development.

Robin Andrew Brown

Through his position as chief executive, Rob is the architect of a highly specialized global platform developed from almost 20 years experience in the pursuit of tax efficient global wealth management products.Since beginning his career with the family business in the UK in 1981, Rob has enjoyed over 19 years experience in the financial services and asset management sector.

Shahzad bin Kader Sultan LLB

Shahzad entered into the Human Sciences Faculty of the International Islamic University, majoring in Political Science in 1992. In 1994, he then proceeded to read law at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons).

Subsequent to having being called to the Bar, Shahzad established practice as an advocate and solicitor to the Malaysian High Court. As a corporate lawyer, Shahzad has made a name for himself specializing in several niche areas of law, namely, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Islamic Banking & Finance. He has advised several national, multinational and global companies, as well as several high net-worth individuals, including acting as the personal legal advisor of a Constitutional Ruler. From time to time, he is also actively involved in assisting and promoting the Malaysian Government including their stable of controlled or linked companies (the GLCs).

He also pioneered the world’s first global syariah compliant payment inter-bank switch known as the Islamic Payment System.
